Linda Schimmel has practiced and taught Yoga for over 30 years. She has studied and gained certifications with yoga masters from many yoga traditions. She has incorporated the teachings of many traditions into her yoga teaching.
Linda’s focus is to improve the health and wellbeing of her students and to have the practice of yoga accessible to everyone and every body.
Linda has been teaching yoga at SJHS Fitness Connection since 1998. She also teaches and gives workshops through out South Jersey. Her Chair Yoga Classes are enjoyed by a large segment of the population.
CHAIR YOGA – GET FIT WHILE YOU SIT
This class is accessible for all fitness levels and all ages. From time to time we just can’t or don’t want to get down on the floor to do yoga for whatever reason. Maybe it’s impractical because of age, crowded work space, inflexibility, handicap, illness etc.
The chair replaces the floor in chair yoga and is great for: office workers, seniors, students, parents, couch potatoes, pregnant women, frequent flyers, disabled, chronically ill, and even wheelchair bound.
